Greetings to everyone involved in the wine & spirits industry!

2016 started out to be fast paced and full of opportunities for us with category extensions into American craft beer, Kentucky Bourbon and American whiskey. We were entrusted with several large private label projects. As Owimex continues to grow, we expanded our sales operations domestically in the US engaging new sales teams to handle the 5 key markets in the US – New York, California, Florida, Texas and Illinois gearing up to handle our import portfolio. We also opened our retail division to handle the private label business in the US for corporate and special events. We continue to seek and represent specialty and award winning products in each category from all over the world.

In the current economic, technologic and competitive environment, it is no longer viable to remain only true to brands and sales methods that have shown success in the past. It is imperative to develop new ways of commercialization and distribution, to develop new brands or existing ones in a new way. This major challenge, facing all sectors of the wine industry, will set aside the companies that did not adapt. I am convinced, and I made it as a motto for OWIMEX, that even in the most difficult market situation, we can succeed by always delivering the best in brand development, production and marketing.

Thanks to all the experience gathered developing overseas wine markets, we developed and acquired high-level skills and methods to promote wine. OWIMEX enjoying 7 years experience in South East Asia, we now have a clear understanding of the market requirements. We aim at combining both Western and Asian cultures, as well as business approaches, to raise the level of the wine market in the South East Asian regions.
